Introducing the new LG KG800 & KE800. This two cellphone also known as the LG Chocolate cellphone. Why do they call it chocolate? Don’t know for sure, but maybe because the design is very sweet, just like chocolate. The LG KG800 was launched around March 2006, while the LG KE800 is going to be out in the market soon. Both of them use slide up design. Very stylish and classy design.

The LG KG800 & KE800 work in triband network, GSM 900, GSM 1800, and GSM 1900. One thing that could distinguish this unique cellphone from others is the touch-sensitive navigation keys with backlights in the front of the cellphone. With this touch-sensitive navigation keys, just a soft touch in the navigation keys will activate the feature you chose. The LG KG800 & KE800 already support GPRS class 10, but not 3G. They also have Bluetooth and USB port for easy data transfer. Both of them also support MP3, AAC and MPEG4 files and they already have application to play those files.

Few things that distinguish these two brothers from each other are the camera and size. The LG KG800 has 1.3 MP camera (1280 x 960 pixels) with flash, while the LG KE800 has 2 MP camera (1600x1200 pixels) with autofocus and flash. In size, the LG KG800 is a bit thinner and lighter compare to LG KE800. The LG KG800’s size is 95 x 48 x 15.2 mm with 83 g in weight. The LG KE800’s size is 95 x 46 x 16.4 mm with 95 g in weight.

Although the two cellphone have TFT screen with 256K colors, the LG KE800 has a bigger screen compare to LG KG800. And for files saving, the LG KG800 is already equipped with 128MB internal memory but no external memory slot. For its brother, the LG KE800, LG has equipped it with a 60MB shared internal memory plus an external memory slot using microSD (TransFlash). The LG KG800 comes in four different color choices, Black, White, Pink, and Wine. But the LG KE800 comes only in one color, Black although it is possible that LG would add some more color option in the future.

Whatever your choice is, this two cellphone, the LG KG800 and KE800 are two stylish designed cellphone with some great features in it. It’s a great cellphone with a price ranging from US$275-330.
